Li-Ning Star Champion Home | Team’s New Base Inauguration Ceremony Held in Beijing

On the morning of May 16th, the unveiling ceremony for the Li-Ning Star Champion Home was successfully held in Shunyi District, Beijing. Attendees included Li Fang, founder of Li-Ning Star Team; Zhang Ying, General Manager of Li-Ning Cycling Business Division; Liu Junlin, Executive Chairman of Li-Ning Star Team; Xu Weiduan, General Manager of official sponsor TREK China; Wang Hao, Marketing Director; Li Shu, Brand General Manager of official sponsor Elille; Zhang Mei, General Manager of Wanda Sports; Geng Xin, Cycling Operations Manager of JD.com, as well as numerous media representatives.
The ceremony took place at the team's brand-new base. During the event, the team's past achievements and outstanding performances in the 2025 season were reviewed. Sun Zhe, General Manager of Li-Ning Star Continental Cycling Team, delivered a speech stating: "The opening of the new base is a vital part of the team's professionalization strategy. Relying on the Champion Home, the team will strengthen its scientific training system, improve the athlete data storage system, and professionalize the logistics, maintenance, and equipment processes to ensure thorough preparation for future competitions."
Li Fang, founder of Li-Ning Star, emphasized in his address: "New base, new journey. As a benchmark professional team in China, Li-Ning Star will continue to build an international standard for team training systems, helping Chinese cycling take more solid and steady steps towards international development."
Attendees jointly conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new base. Two champion athletes then unveiled the red silk covering the base's nameplate, symbolizing the official opening of the team's new headquarters and the launch of a new chapter.
Following the ceremony, Sun Zhe, General Manager of Li-Ning Star, led guests on a tour of the base, providing further insight into its layout and the work/living environment.
The base entrance features multiple images of riders sprinting to victory, continuing the team's signature red and yellow visual identity. Inside, it is equipped with:
A physical training center
A rehabilitation and medical center
A multi-functional conference center
A professional equipment maintenance zone
An equipment and supply storage area
A data analysis center
Dining and rest areas
This comprehensively covers the training, living, and work needs of both athletes and staff.
Established in October 2019 under the guidance of the Chinese Cycling Association and registered with the UCI as a Continental Team, Li-Ning Star operates both men's and women's teams, recognized as among the most professional in China domestically. The team boasts the most complete support structure among domestic professional teams, with coaches and mechanics holding UCI training certifications.

The Li-Ning Star Continental Cycling Team's new base is the first dedicated professional cycling team base in China. Its inauguration signals the accelerated development of Chinese cycling towards professionalism and internationalization. As Team Manager Sun Zhe stated: "Chinese professional teams are steadily advancing to higher levels." Moving forward, the team will leverage this new base as a fulcrum to continuously enhance its overall capabilities, grow through competition, and shine on the global stage!
